Watch Martin de Thurah's Haunting Short 'Color Me'
The fantastical nightmare of a film, with music by Active Child, is presented through an inspiring online universe.
“I wanted to make something frightening, and I know it is very hard. To create a film in which someone was physically penetrated by their own anxiety. In a gentle way, with a lot of love and the possibility of healing,” Martin de Thurah says of his new short film Color Me made with music by American musician Active Child.
The fantastical nightmare premieres today at ColorMeProject.net, an interactive hub where people can find inspiration and support mental health awareness.
On the site it is possible to watch the film, see different artists interpretations of Color Me, create your own poster with visual assets from the film, read excerpts from Martin de Thurah’s dreams, share your dreams, and buy fine art prints, sculptures made for the film and t-shirts. Proceeds are donated to the Mental Health Foundation Denmark.
